Every first Friday of the month, downtown Las Vegas is turned into an outdoor street gallery.  Different stores and businesses open their doors to showcase local artist's work.  The streets are filled with food vendors, street performers and eyeliner laden teenagers, but don't let the kids bring you down.  The festival still has some remnants of art and culture or you can skip the festival all together and just get drunk at Fremont.
